​​Miguel Perez - Director, Real Estate - Southeast Region

 

 

​Mr. Miguel Perez is the Director of Real Estate for the Southeast Region.  Mr. Perez oversees all government accounts in Central Florida and surrounding counties.  Prior to working with DEVAL, Mr. Perez managed communities in the private sector for the Multi-Family Housing Industry for a total of 22 years (specializing in the Lower Income Housing Tax Credit Program) on single and multi-phase communities (the last 11 years of which he served The Wilson Company).  Mr. Perez also served as vice chair for the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando and was instrumental in lobbying industry changes for the Multifamily Industry on Capitol Hill in Tallahassee. Mr. Perez holds certifications in (NALP) National Association of Leasing Professionals, (HCCP) Housing Credit Certified Professional and (SHCM) Specialist in Housing Credit Management and Landlord Tenant Law.  Mr. Perez is fluent in Spanish.
